Writerly Progress, Book Three, Etc.

It's been awhile since I updated everyone on what's going on, so here are the specs:

-As of June 11th, I started Book Three of the Whispers of Nowhere Trilogy; "The Mythos Trials". Now, not even a full two months later, said novel has reached approximately 73,000 words. Not entirely sure (since my outlines are a loose construct from which I frequently deviate) but I think I'm at about the halfway point in the plot.

-On the side, I've also begun the Forneus and Phenex's prequels: Phenex's was started July 13th, and Forneus' was started August 1st. Forneus' prequel is also technically Phenex's in a sense, though Phenex's exact origins will be treated as passing information, or as flash-backs in his own prequel. To clarify, Forneus' prequel begins with his origins, and follows the course of his 900 years of life (obviously not every last year, but you get the idea). As such, it will also include the start of his friendship with Phenex, and their earliest missions together as Regulations Force operatives prior to Forneus becoming Guardian of the Artifacts (his role in the Whispers of Nowhere trilogy), which starts in 1954. As a result, Phenex's story starts in 1954, following his career after Forneus is chosen to take on the solitary role of guardian--and thus, his first meetings/confrontations with the WoN trilogy's main antagonist, Reeves.

-Titles for the above are as follows, though subject to change: The Spectrum Chronicles, Book One: Arcane Guardian, and The Spectrum Chronicles, Book Two: Shadow and Flame.

As I said, they're not my primary focus, but I've resolved to do a bit of work on them here and there between TMT's scenes...particularly if I happen to get stuck.

-Shattered Time (the prequel novel/series that I've mentioned in the past, and that also will serve as a bridge between the other prequels and the WoN trilogy) is on the back burner until the main trilogy itself is finished.
