Long Overdue Update
Has it really been almost a year since my last journal entry on here? Cripes. Anyway, if I'm completely honest, it hasn't been my most productive year, writing-wise. But that being said, I have done some work here and there, and this is what I've done so far this year: -worked on the third draft of "Shattered Time" (The Spectrum Chronicles) -submitted a story to Chicken Soup for the Soul (no feedback yet) -Edited short story, "Three Chances" twice -Edited short story, "The Piper's Melody" also twice -worked on the fifth draft of "Shadow & Flame" (The Spectrum Chronicles) -worked on the fourth draft of "The 13th Magic" (middlegrade stand-alone) -currently working on the fourth draft of "Arcane Guardian" (The Spectrum Chronicles) I know that probably looks like a lot, but compared to previous years (and considering a lot of what I've done relates to short stories), I just don't feel like I've accomplished much this year. But maybe that isn't a bad thing; maybe I need to slow down
WoN Trilogy Hardcovers!
Hello, lovely DA people! So, if you're familiar with me, you know that I'm an author; I have published a YA Fantasy trilogy and a short story in an anthology--and I have plenty of other works in varying stages of completion. Well, to make a long story short, Amazon (the platform I use to publish my books when they're ready) has included hardcovers as a format for publication. This means those who prefer hardcovers to paperback and ebook can get my books in whichever format they prefer (barring audiobook for the last book in the trilogy--but that doesn't seem to be as popular among my readers). Because of this, I had new covers created specially for the hardcover versions (the ebook and paperback ones will of course remain the same; each cover brings something to the series, and I consider myself fortunate to have a number of talented artists bring my work to life.) So without further ado, I present to you--the Whispers of Nowhere Trilogy hardcover editions!
Back to STATIC
Hey, all. It's been awhile since I posted any updates. A lot's happened since my last entry in June. So I'll just present the cliff notes version: -I moved into my first owned house in July. (Well, our. This wouldn't have been possible without my husband). -I've done a bit of work here and there on some short stories. -I attempted to return to STATIC about a month ago, only to go on hiatus. Which leads me back to yet another attempt to work on STATIC. If you don't know what STATIC is, it's a cyberpunk story I've been writing on/off for just over 3 years now (started September 2018). The on/off has partly been because it wasn't a priority work, but largely because this is the type of project that just feels enormous to me. Not necessarily that it's going to be a huge book, but that I feel out of my depth regarding it. Maybe because I've never written a cyberpunk before, but I figure it's mainly because when I started it, it started so strong; one of those, "I basically blacked out
The Mythos Trials Launched: A Trilogy Complete!
Well, it's officially out there, folks. Yesterday, I launched the third and final book in the Whispers of Nowhere Trilogy, The Mythos Trials. This was originally intended to occur July 2nd, but due to some real life stuff going on (moving--officially becoming home owners, yay!), I felt it best to bump up the date. So June 20th became that date. Here's the link, for anyone who's interested: https://www.amazon.com/Mythos-Trials-Whispers-Nowhere-Book-ebook/dp/B0933MGN5T/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+mythos+trials&qid=1624279959&sr=8-1 A lot has happened in the 7+ years since I first started this series; if someone had told me back then half of the things that would happen in the coming years, I'd have hardly believed them. And throughout all the changes, all the memories--good, bad, or otherwise--my work has been an anchor, holding me fast in this mad tempest called life. And above all others, the Whispers of Nowhere Trilogy. I don't have the words to express what these

By any chance are you planning to publish these books? You're putting so much work into them it'd be a shame to not see them on the shelves.
