Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem, or "seize the day". I just got this done today; one I've planned on for at least six years or so. Unlike the "YOLO" community (is that even still a thing?) I don't see this as an excuse to go out and do irresponsible things. Rather, I see it as a mantra to live by, to make the most of every day in a way that means the most to me.

For me, that's writing, enjoying a good book, having family movie night, trying new foods... Because life is short, I want to always seek out what enjoyment I can while I'm still here.

Updated, due to getting the tattoo touched up. Lines are darker, thicker, and the "M" in "Diem" has been fixed.
